My Favorite Things In Paris
Simply put, I love Paris. It's been on my list of places to explore for quite some time now. It indeed was fabulous. Several of my followers let me know they couldn't wait to hear about my recent trip, so I decided to share a few of my favorite things about my time in Paris.
The Food
….was amazing. There wasn't one restaurant that I did not enjoy--so much flavor and finesse in every meal. Also, still trying to figure out if pancakes are a thing in Paris(?) because they are next-level good. So perfectly sweetened, light, airy, and the perfect amount of fluff. Everywhere I ordered pancakes, I had them served with fruit. The best part is that the pancakes are so delicious and well made that you don't even need syrup. A few of my favorite restaurants that are a must to try are Lou Lou, Malro, and Sunday in Soho (specifically for the pancakes and lattes).
The People
It's true—Paris is the most loving place. The people I met everywhere were so special. Everyone was lovely, patient, and kind, which was a refreshing change of environment from NYC. I even made a new girlfriend the first day! She ended up giving me an extensive list of places and restaurants to try, and they all ended up on my list of favorites. One of the most important things when traveling is to look forward to meeting new people. You never know who you might meet and how valuable they can become to your time there.
The Shopping
The shopping in Paris is just outstanding. I adore every single thing I bought. And, if you've ever heard that luxury brands are a little cheaper in Europe, it's true. Additionally, as I'm sure you can imagine, the selection of clothing there is much better than in the U.S. Nothing much more to say other than this... Make sure you go shopping in Paris!
The Overall Vibe
Paris is a very relaxed, elegant, and chic city. It reminds me of New York City, which made navigating the city extremely easy. A much cleaner and calmer version, but the pace and accessibility are much like the Big Apple.
A few final things I loved and highly recommend: staying at a hotel with a great vibe, eating at the restaurants the locals go to, Disney Land Paris, chasing the Effiel Tower at night, catching the metro train, visiting the Louvre, and the lattes! They are as phenomenal as you'd think.
Au Revoir!

Braea
